Verrrrry interesting!

Is it your family room, or a really cool bar you hang out at?

I have often thought that two of the greatest opening lines for a song were "Picture yourself" and "What would you do if I sang out of tune" actually, just "WHAT WOULD YOU DO" qualifies.

Very ecclectic list! I love Billy Joel, Lyle, and many others on your list.

Great first lines for songs-

She can kill with a smile, she can wound with her eyes - from the song Always a Woman by Billy Joel

Something in your eyes, makes me want to lose myself- from the song feels like home to me by Bonnie Raitt.

how can I go home
with nothing to say? from the song You had Time by Ani Defranco

Anyway, I like some of the songs you listed like Glory Days and Take it Easy.

Hope you are having a great day.
Bye for now,
