There are times when a relatively obscure event becomes a rallying point for public sentiment. Who could have predicted that this event would involve the president of the United States, a frustrated journalist, and a pair of shoes.
The best part of the whole video was the look on W's face. He was like... Bring it! For a moment, I thought he might jump over and have a go.
Used to be the U.S. President would be surrounded by people willing to take a bullet for him. Now he can't even find someone to take a shoe for him.
LOL...Now this is an interesting event Kilroy! LOL...
Too funny!
Kimberly :)
I understand the humor here Kilroy but the flinging of a shoe or anything else at an American President is sad and I don't care who it is. On the other hand the comment by George Bush 1. that he wanted to see Jeb in the White House made me say, "WTF" I am so afraid of another Bush in the white house that I think it should be a new rule requiring all females have a clean shaven hoochy area before entering the place. Forgive me first lady, no disrespect intended!
