Delete... Delete... Delete... Delete... Delete... x201

It's time to empty my SPAM folder; the count today hit 1,005!

What a storied history SPAM has had. In the days of NASA's Gemini progam the astronauts were often referred to as "spam in a can". It's rare that you hear anyone talk about the canned precooked meat from Hormel. Maybe we'll hit on the Austin, Minnesota company another time.

For the moment, the focus is on unwanted email. That which could easily be labeled the scourge of the web. {Which is how some people refer to paid posts in blogs; again something for future posting}

Quite interesting, I must say, how inventive the spammers are about trying to get into our Inbox. And, frankly, just how fucking lame some others are.

F-BOMB! {Couldn't help myself; I find that label so fucking comical}

To conclude...

I'd just like to know why people keep wanting to sell me Viagra. Does it work as well for women as it does men? LOL

I guess they haven't figured out that today's SPAM filters aren't fooled by the odd scramble of disjointed words that seems to be a favorite ploy.

As for PPP, I'm inclined to agree, as I never read them. Sorry, Kilroy. I hunt for your REAL posts LOL!!

Mmmm, I know about this one - ever since my Anti-virus/ anti-spam went up the creek a few weeks ago, my mailbox has filled to overflowing, and quite frankly is beyond me to rifle through! :-(

Funny, I don't remember spam from a tin being so goddamn annoying!
