Tonight's Feature Presentation, from 1936, is Reefer Madness, directed by Louis Gasnier.
Originally released under the title Tell Your Children, when it was financed by a church group, Reefer Madness was re-cut by producer Dwain Esperw, when he bought it, and distributed on the exploitation film circuit.
It wasn't until the 1970s, when it was rediscovered, that Reefer Madness found an audience, with dopers looking at it as a comedy.
And now without further adieu, enjoy Reefer Madness...

Did you know that there is a remake of sorts of Reefer Madness. One of my kids rented it a couple of years ago. It is the '36 version with color added to the smoke and peoples faces, then after there is a fun little session with a guy giving advice on how to be a proper smoker... I think his name was Dr. Weed or something like that.
I was amused.
Great post Kilroy ;o)
