Appreciating That Which Is All Too Often Taken For Granted

I've never been big on joining groups.

I'm in a fraternity, a member of NORML and a member of the Friends of the National Baseball Hall of Fame. I've been in a few professional organizations over the years; that's a bit different though.

I think that's the full list. I have CRS, though, and it's bad today so I can't be sure.

Today I found an organization I'll definitely be joining, The Cloud Appreciation Society.

I was out shooting clouds a couple nights ago. TheSpecialOne asked, so I should preface this by saying that I did not "adjust" or "manipulate" this photograph. This is what came out of the camera when I shot the sunset two nights ago.

Oh, I saw this picture earlier as I scooted through - it's wonderful! It's almost like the ripples in water upside-down... if you see what I mean.

My son and I are into the second year of membership to the Cloud Appreciation Society - arent the pictures on that site absolutely amazing!! Did you see the one of the cloud that looked like a giant surfing wave??!! Brilliant!

...it's what I aspire to!

And, seems like your looking up at the sky's really paying off, Kilroy! You've got a few fantastic shots lately, haven't you!
