...But, Then, I Drink

Crown Royal and Seagram's ginger ale was my drink of choice when I sat down to write this morning.

I got to thinking that I should pass on a tip for those who don't usually partake, but find themselves with a drink in their hand over the next couple of weeks.

In this case, it's ginger ale ice cubes with whiskey. I also like Coca-Cola ice cubes with rum.

What I like to do is fill a tall glass with ginger ale ice cubes and then pour the whiskey over them. It makes for a good sipping drink while I'm writing.

Ginger ale ice cubes seem to freeze faster than regular ice cubes. Looking at the two side-by-side you can see there's a difference in their consistency.

Cheers!

don't they losee their fizz when they thaw? the CO2?
Or do you like the flat stuff?
i like coke that has gone flat and been wteed down.
Sometimes I'll add water to my coke cuz the straight stuff is just too swett and I want just a hint of coke.
Hey, Gonzo!

When you freeze a "fizzy" carbonated drink it looses that bubbly appeal. How do you over over come the Flat Rum and Coke?
